Skill Requirements:Education: Mechanic, Apprentice, Helper Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Licensed or Ontario or inter-provincial auto mechanic would be an asset, but not necessary Experience: Experience in 4wd, differential set-up, welding and fabrication would be an asset. Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, Word processing helpful, but not required. Work Setting: Retail and wholesale establishment, Repair and fabrication shop. Specific Skills: Basic mechanical skills as required. Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Significant use of memory. Other: Knowledge in the 4WD Jeep/Truck industry and performance after market components necessary. A good understanding of suspensions, steering, drive line, and the ability to do some fabrication and welding. Skill Requirements: Experience: Experience in Sales, automotive after market sales, leasing and/or parts and accessories, would be an asset Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English French would be an asset, but not neccesary Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, Business Vision, Outlook, IE, or Thunderbird, Mozilla. Excel, basic Word processing. Work Setting: Retail and wholesale establishment, Installation, Repair and fabrication shop. Specific Skills: Must understand and have the ability to initiate the sales process from cold calling, following up leads, farming known territories, establish and maintain contacts with the ultimate goal of closing the sale. Current connections and experience in dealing with automotive dealers, automotive and truck upfitters would be an asset. Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Significant use of memory. Other: Knowledge in the 4WD Jeep/Truck industry and performance after market components an asset. A good understanding of suspensions, steering, and drive line.
